"Science Park Without Walls" presented in Göteborg
In the framework of the prestigious CIP Forum, held in Göteborg (Sweden) from the 29th of May to the 1st of June 2011, our sub-project "Science Park Without Walls" - approved last 28th April - has been presented.
Other District + sub-projects presented in Göteborg:
• EAST_INNO_TRANSFER "Supporting Innovation and Fostering Knowledge Transfer in the New EU Member States" - with a budget of € 374,396, Lead partner: Territorial Office for SMEs and Cooperation (Romania);
• KNOW-ECO "Enhancing Knowledge Collaboration in Eco-Innovation" with a budget of € 288,484.16, Lead partner: Coventry University Enterprises Ltd (UK);
• NGSP "Next Generation Science Park" with a budget of € 561,763.00, Lead partner: Chalmers Industrial Technologies Foundation (Sweden);
• NICER "Networks for the Internationalisation of Excellence in Cluster Regions" with a budget of € 353.307Lead partner: PIN-University of Florence;
• STEP "Improved Definition and Profiling Technology for Sustainable Parks" with a budget of € 274,018.64 - Lead partner: Innovation and Founders Centre in Magdeburg (Germany).
The two days of activities devoted to the DISTRICT+ Project have shown the active participation not only of the 6 project partner regions (Tuscany Region, Vastra Gotalands - which hosted the initiative - Lower Silesia, Saxony-Anhalt and Brasov County), but also and above all of the partners of the 6 sub-projects that presented the program of their activities and objectives of their sub-project, and participated in a training session on the Interreg IVC procedures.
